We raise a small herd of Murray Greys and crosses on the western side of the Cascades in southwest Washington. What started with a purchase of a Hereford cow calf pair to keep the grass down has evolved into a purebred Murray Grey seed stock operation. We are hooked.

While researching the qualities of different breeds, the traits we were looking for stood out in the Murray Greys. It is important that our cattle have excellent dispositions yet be easy keepers.  Since we raise beef, carcass quality was just as important. Murray Greys are known for their ability to produce an excellent carcass.
